Meet Nora deLyra

I've spent more than 28 years helping people buy and sell real estate. After working with hundreds of buyers and watching the industry evolve, I began to see a growing divide: some buyers want full-service representation, while others are comfortable making their own decisions but still need access to reliable tools, licensed transaction support and a clear path from home search to closing.

I built Nestor to help level the playing field for those independent buyers.

Nestor gives buyers a way to search homes, request showings, understand the process and prepare an offer through NovaCasa Realty's transaction-brokerage model—without automatically committing to traditional buyer representation. Buyers who want more guidance can also choose to work directly with me as their full-service buyer's agent.

My approach has always been consumer-first. I believe buyers should understand their choices, know what they are paying for and have the freedom to select the level of service that is right for them.

Before real estate, I studied film at NYU and worked as a television writer and producer, including at ESPN. I've always had a love of sports and storytelling. That creative background has shaped how I approach problems: question the familiar process, look at it from the consumer's perspective and build something better when the traditional answer no longer fits.

Nestor is the result of that thinking—a more transparent, flexible and buyer-directed way to purchase a home.
